J. Allyson-FeigerI incorporate abstract universal symbols with cosmic references to create new universes, worlds, and moments in time and space.

My artwork started out with planets in their various phases whirling around in time and space, exploding with energy and color, creating new universes and galaxies. Through the Intaglio printmaking processes these planets have become more substantive and have slowly transformed into creatures of light (reminiscent of butterflies and dragonflies) on their journey of creating smaller universes and defining time and space more intimately for the viewer.

Recently, these planets have evolved into "flowers" sprouting from their cosmic origins re-defining space and time into even more transient moments.
